As the surgeons are fixing up Corny, Khador starts to wonder, "What has he been chanting since we brought him in?" Corny comes out talking in Terran speech. Before the surgeons can throw the old yet functional Void brain away, Khador grabs it and throws it under the polygraph. What emerges is Void Runes, but thank goodness Carla can read Void because what emerges is evidence that Mkkt Bkkt's surgeons were hired by Alice to implant Corny with the Void brain. One of the surgeons that did this just happens to be Brillo Lampeter's brother, Eidan Lampeter, who is out for revenge. Brillo is kidnapped by his brother and is en route to Skavac at Scion, Her Jaza. Brillo is in a secure cabin in Eidan's ship, surrounded by eight pirates. EMPs must be used to make sure Brillo is safely transferred to Khador in one piece. After the battle, Eidan's ship lies in ruins, but Khador manages to confiscate a chip with the plans of Mkkt's next attack. To be continued......
